PROTEIN

What is Protein?


What we will discuss today is "Protein".  It is generally believe that protein is the block of life.  It is protein that actually form the blocks that made up human life.  Protein is one of the most important nutritious elements in life.  It is responsible for our physiological activities, metabolism, the growth of bones, formation of organs from fertilization, the renewal of human tissues and growth throughout and energy supplements.  All these activities cannot be carried out and complemented without the involvement of protein. Furthermore, the growth and development of body, the renewal of injured tissues, the metabolism, the enzyme formation, immune system and incretion, vitality maintenance and decrepitude postpone and prolonging life, all are not possible without protein.

What are some of the effects insufficient protein in the body?

Insufficient protein in the body will cause malfunctions, the symptoms of memory decline and other physiological atrophy, skin loosening, muscle weakness and other diseases.  Lack of protein in children can cause stunt growth, kwashiorkor.  In recent year, the incre3ase in the number of people with high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and obesity are related to insufficient absorption of protein.


What are some of the remedies to address a problem of insufficient protein in the body?

There is a popular saying my part of the world that "A healthy person is wealthy person".  Do you believe that this statement is true? Is a healthy man truly a wealthy man? Put differently, what is the value of good health to an individual? Which is actually better, to be healthy without physical assets or to have a lot of money without a good health?
